Bilingual Customer Service Specialist

This position is key to the success of our retail operations. As a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist, you will engage with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on Sherwin-Williams products. Your role will also involve swiftly resolving any customer issues to ensure their satisfaction and maintaining the exceptional quality and visual standards of our products and store.

You will be expected to excel in customer service while striving to meet the store's sales objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service.
• Assisting customers both in-person and over the phone to identify and recommend suitable products and services.
• Establishing trustful relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
• Accurately processing sales transactions in alignment with company policies.
• Meeting sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Maintaining orderly work files and records.
• Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
• Tinting and mixing products based on customer specifications.
• Stocking shelves and arranging displays effectively.
• Cleaning store equipment to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
• Assisting with deliveries when necessary.
• Keeping assigned areas stocked and presentable.
• Staying informed about product offerings and discussing available options with customers.
• Adhering to inventory control procedures.
• Recommending strategies to enhance sales.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles.
• Experience in selling paint and paint-related products.
• Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
• Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly valued.
