Job Summary: Registered Nurse (RN) - Level 3 Trauma Emergency Room
We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in our 24-bed Level 3 Trauma Emergency Room, recognized within Lifepoint Health. In this role, you'll play a critical part in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing various traumatic injuries and medical emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions, including trauma and medical emergencies.
- Assess and triage patients quickly, prioritizing care based on severity and initiating appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized patient care plans.
- Administer life-saving treatments and interventions for trauma patients, including wound care and emergency resuscitation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Document all patient interactions and care in the electronic medical record (EMR) system accurately.
- Provide education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care for patients and their families.
- Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure a compliant and safe environment.

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must hold current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure and possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing.
Required Certifications
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - required upon hire
- ACLS & PALS certifications from the AHA or ARC - required within 6 months if not current upon hire
- TNCC - preferred
Minimum Work Experience:
1 year of experience in Emergency Services nursing, AEMT, Paramedic, or Military nursing experience is preferred.
