Lead AI Engineer | HealthTech Startup | £100-150k base + Equity

Join an innovative HealthTech startup backed by prestigious tier 1 venture capitalists as we seek to expand our team with a talented AI engineer. We have already achieved a seven-figure Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and are on the verge of announcing a significant Series A funding round.

About the Role:

As a Lead AI Engineer, you will have the thrilling opportunity to design and develop cutting-edge AI systems and technologies. This includes creating agent-based AI systems, voice automation, recommendation engines, and intelligent healthcare workflows. Your role allows for autonomy in technical decisions, hands-on work with real-world healthcare data, and a direct impact on patient outcomes.

If you are passionate about taking concepts from prototype to production, have expertise in fine-tuning large language models (LLMs), working with agent frameworks, and potentially voice technologies, we invite you to be part of our exciting journey from zero to one.

We are looking for:

  • Strong product-focused AI/ML engineering experience
  • Experience with fine-tuning LLMs and generative AI models
  • Preferably, experience in building voice agents (Text-to-Speech, Speech-to-Text)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; independent and ready to make a difference
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Based in the UK or Europe with occasional travel to the US
