Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver tailored nursing care to each patient. You will collaborate closely with a diverse healthcare team, including physicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Planning and coordinating comprehensive care.
- Conducting patient assessments and education.
- Performing triage and various essential nursing interventions.
As part of your role, you will adhere to the standards of nursing practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and other relevant regulations, ensuring the highest level of care for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Qualifications
A graduate of an accredited nursing program is required, and while a Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred, it is not mandatory. You must hold an unencumbered RN license in the state where you will provide care or have multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. You are also expected to maintain any necessary departmental competencies and certifications.
