Role Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is essential in providing personalized nursing care using the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, including physicians, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. Your expertise will cover all areas of nursing practice, including preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, while you guide patients along their care continuum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and support through various nursing interventions.
- Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and standards of nursing practice.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Hold an unencumbered RN license in your state of practice or possess multistate licensure if applicable.
- Maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
